Marriage Rescue Effective Date: August 12, 2026
These Terms of Use, Assumption of Risk, and Limitation of Liability (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Marriage Rescue website, application, program, content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Marriage Rescue was created by Eric & Shannon Park. The Marriage Rescue website and application are developed and supported by Navodos, 6560 Howick Rd, Celina, Ohio 45822.
By creating an account, accessing the Service, or participating in Marriage Rescue, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Marriage Rescue.
By using the Service, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into these Terms.
2. Nature of the Service
Marriage Rescue is a self-guided educational and relationship-development program intended to provide couples with structured information, reflection, questions, exercises, communication tools, and related resources.
Marriage Rescue is not psychotherapy, couples therapy, marriage counseling, medical treatment, legal representation, financial counseling, or another licensed professional service.
3. No Professional Relationship
Use of Marriage Rescue does not create a therapist-client, counselor-client, physician-patient, attorney-client, fiduciary, pastoral counseling, or other professional relationship with Eric Park, Shannon Park, Navodos, Marriage Rescue, or their owners, employees, contractors, developers, affiliates, or service providers.
4. No Guaranteed Results
Marriage Rescue does not guarantee that participation will improve, repair, reconcile, preserve, or save a marriage.
No particular outcome is promised.
Each relationship involves circumstances, histories, personalities, decisions, and behaviors outside the control of Marriage Rescue.
5. Assumption of Risk
Marriage and relationship discussions can involve emotionally difficult subjects.
By voluntarily participating in Marriage Rescue, you acknowledge that exercises, questions, discussions, assessments, or information presented through the Service may produce uncomfortable emotions, disagreements, conflict, distress, or discoveries concerning your relationship.
You voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participating in such discussions and exercises.
You remain responsible for deciding whether participation in any particular exercise is appropriate for your circumstances.
6. Safety and Abusive Relationships
Marriage Rescue is not an emergency intervention service and should not be relied upon in situations involving immediate danger, violence, abuse, coercion, threats, stalking, or other serious safety concerns.
You should not participate in an exercise if you reasonably believe doing so could place you or another person in danger.
Marriage Rescue does not guarantee that it can identify abuse, violence, suicidal behavior, criminal activity, or other dangerous circumstances from information entered into the Service.
7. User Decisions and Conduct
You retain responsibility for your own decisions and behavior.
You agree not to hold Marriage Rescue, Eric & Shannon Park, Navodos, or their respective owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, developers, licensors, or service providers responsible for decisions or actions taken by you, your spouse, or another person based upon participation in the Service, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
8. Artificial Intelligence
Marriage Rescue may use artificial intelligence, algorithms, automated processing, or third-party AI services.
AI-generated material may contain errors or misunderstand information provided by users.
AI output is provided for educational and informational purposes and should not be treated as a professional diagnosis, factual determination, or professional recommendation.
You acknowledge that you should independently evaluate important decisions and seek qualified professional assistance when appropriate.
9. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You may not:
- Access your spouse's account without authorization;
- Attempt to obtain responses designated as private;
- Circumvent security or privacy controls;
- Impersonate another user;
- Interfere with the operation of the Service;
- Use automated systems to improperly access the Service; or
- Attempt to obtain unauthorized access to Marriage Rescue systems or data.
10. Privacy Between Spouses
Marriage Rescue may designate certain responses as private.
Participation in a shared Marriage Rescue journey does not give either spouse ownership of or unrestricted access to the other spouse's private responses.
Users agree not to pressure, threaten, manipulate, or technically circumvent another participant in an attempt to obtain private responses.
11. User-Submitted Information
You are responsible for information you submit.
You agree not to knowingly submit unlawful content or content intended to threaten, harass, impersonate, defraud, or harm another person.
Statements submitted about your spouse or another individual represent your own statements and perceptions. Marriage Rescue does not independently verify their truth or accuracy.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Marriage Rescue program, name, structure, written materials, exercises, questions, assessments, videos, graphics, software, design elements, and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Users receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access Marriage Rescue for its intended personal use.
Users may not reproduce, sell, redistribute, publish, scrape, copy, reverse engineer, create competing derivative products from, or commercially exploit Marriage Rescue content without written authorization, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
13. Third-Party Services
Marriage Rescue may rely upon third-party hosting, database, payment, communication, artificial intelligence, analytics, or other technology providers.
Marriage Rescue does not control every aspect of independent third-party services and cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability or performance.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MARRIAGE RESCUE AND THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
NO WARRANTY IS MADE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY USER OR RELATIONSHIP.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS ARE DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MARRIAGE RESCUE, ERIC PARK, SHANNON PARK, NAVODOS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
THIS INCLUDES, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLAIMS INVOLVING RELATIONSHIP CONFLICT, SEPARATION, DIVORCE, LOSS OF CONSORTIUM, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF INCOME, LOSS OF BUSINESS, OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SERVICE.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
16. Release
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you release Marriage Rescue, Eric Park, Shannon Park, Navodos, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, developers, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims arising solely from voluntary interpersonal decisions, conversations, disagreements, or actions between you and your spouse occurring in connection with your participation in Marriage Rescue, except for claims that cannot legally be waived or released.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Marriage Rescue, Eric Park, Shannon Park, Navodos, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses resulting from your unlawful misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
18. Availability and Modification
Marriage Rescue may modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace portions of the Service.
Features, exercises, program structure, artificial intelligence functionality, and other components may change as the Service develops.
19. Termination of Access
Marriage Rescue may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain security, investigate misuse, enforce these Terms, or comply with legal requirements.
20. Governing Law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any provision found unenforceable shall be modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary while the remaining provisions continue in effect.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Marriage Rescue Privacy Policy and Disclaimer and any additional terms presented for a particular feature or purchase, constitute the agreement governing use of the Service.
22. Changes to These Terms
Marriage Rescue may update these Terms as the Service evolves.
Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means.
Continued use following the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
23. Electronic Acceptance
Checking an acceptance box, creating an account, purchasing access, or continuing into the Marriage Rescue program after being presented with these Terms may constitute electronic acceptance of these Terms.
Users should be required to affirmatively acknowledge the Terms, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer before beginning the Marriage Rescue program.
